How to Edit Valorant Clips with Eklipse #
Step 1–3: Import Your Valorant VOD #
1. Log in to app.eklipse.gg and select New Clip from the Dashboard
2. Choose your source, Twitch, Kick, or YouTube, and select your Valorant VOD from the list or paste the VOD URL directly
3. Set the game to Valorant from the category dropdown before processing, this activates the tactical shooter detection model, which is tuned for aces, clutch rounds, spike plays, and multi-kills
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Show the game category selector with Valorant selected.
Step 4: Run AI Highlight Detection #
4. Start processing, Eklipse scans the VOD and returns detected Valorant highlights; a 3-hour ranked session typically surfaces 5–12 clip candidates including aces, clutch 1v3s, and high-kill rounds
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Capture the clip results grid showing detected Valorant moments with timestamps.
Step 5–7: Edit Clips in Eklipse Studio #
5. Select a clip from the results and open it in Eklipse Studio to begin editing
6. Apply vertical formatting, click the 9:16 crop tool to convert the clip for TikTok or YouTube Shorts; adjust the crop frame to keep the crosshair and kill feed visible
7. Trim the clip using the start/end handles to cut dead time before and after the play, keep the clip between 20–60 seconds for optimal short-form retention
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Show the Studio editor with a Valorant clip cropped to 9:16 and the kill feed in frame.
Step 8–9: Add Effects and Captions #
8. Apply AI-Edit effects using AI-Edit to auto-add memes, zoom effects, or reaction overlays timed to kills, optional but increases engagement on TikTok-style content
9. Add captions if you include commentary, use the caption tool in Studio to auto-generate or manually add text
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Capture a clip in Studio with captions and an AI-Edit zoom effect applied.
Step 10: Export and Post #
10. Export the clip, select the platform format (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram Reels) and download, or post directly via the Content Publisher without leaving Eklipse

What Happens Next #
Your edited Valorant clip is formatted and ready to post. For Valorant content specifically, clipping consistently after each ranked or competitive session keeps your TikTok and Shorts feed active without manual review. See the Valorant highlight clipper page for game-specific detection details.

Troubleshooting #
Q: The AI isn’t detecting my Valorant clutch rounds, only kills are being flagged.
A: Confirm Valorant is selected as the game category before processing. Generic detection misses clutch-round signals. Re-process the VOD with Valorant set explicitly.
Q: The 9:16 crop is cutting off the minimap and kill feed.
A: Adjust the crop frame in Studio manually, drag the frame down slightly to include the bottom UI bar, or zoom out the crop to show more of the screen.
Q: My exported clip has a watermark.
A: Watermark-free exports require an active paid plan. Check your subscription status or view Eklipse pricing to upgrade.
