If your last stream produced zero AI highlights, it is almost always one of four things: auto-processing was off, Twitch had your VOD locked to subscribers, the VOD was not available for us to read, or the stream itself gave the AI nothing to work with. Run through these in order.
1. Check That Auto-Processing Is On #
Auto-Processing is what tells Eklipse to detect your stream and generate highlights once it ends. If it is switched off, nothing gets clipped, even when everything else is set up correctly.
1. Confirm your streaming account (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or Facebook) is still connected in Eklipse.
2. Go to your Profile Account Settings and toggle on Auto Processing.
3. Stream as usual. Your highlights will appear in your dashboard after the broadcast ends.
2. Make Sure Your Twitch VOD Is Not Subscribers-Only #
This is the single most common cause. Our AI needs public access to the video, so a sub-only archive blocks processing entirely. Uncheck it in both places:
- Twitch Creator Dashboard > Monetization > Subscriptions > Subscriber-only Archives — make sure this is unchecked.
- twitch.tv/dashboard > Affiliate > uncheck both Sub-Only Chat and Sub-Only Archives.
More detail here: Why won’t my Twitch generate clips?
3. Confirm the VOD Is Public and Still Available #
Eklipse reads the original VOD on Twitch or YouTube. If it was deleted, set to private or unlisted, or never stored in the first place, there is nothing for the AI to scan. Check that your platform is saving past broadcasts and that the video is public.
Step-by-step for each platform: My VOD isn’t showing up, what should I do?
4. Look at the Stream Itself #
- Was the VOD very short, or quiet? A short stream, or long stretches with no audio or visual change, can leave the AI with nothing worth clipping.
- Did the process fail? Open the process status in your dashboard and check whether it reported an error rather than finishing empty.
Still No Highlights? #
