We are sorry to hear you are having trouble uploading your videos to the Eklipse editor! When an upload fails, hangs, or throws an error, it usually comes down to file compatibility, platform permissions, or temporary connection drops.
Common issues and how to fix them #
- Check Clip Compatibility: Ensure your clip is raw gameplay footage and not an already highly-edited montage. Your video file must be in MP4 format and have a file size of 10GB or less.
- Verify the Original VOD: If you are trying to import a stream directly via a Twitch or YouTube link, make sure the original VOD on that platform is set to Public and hasn’t been deleted or muted.
- Follow the Correct Upload Process: * To upload a local video from your computer: Go to AI Edit from the left dashboard menu, click Start AI Edit, and select the Local Upload tab.
- To upload a stream: Use the Import Stream button located on your Home or Library page.
- Check Your Connection: Uploading large video files requires a stable internet connection. If you experience a processing delay or the progress bar freezes, wait a few minutes and try submitting it again.
- Review Your Monthly Limits: If you are on a Free or standard plan, double-check your AI Edit usage in your Account Settings or Pricing page to ensure you haven’t hit your monthly cap.
If you have checked all these points and your video is still refusing to upload, please reach out to our support team for human assistance!
Check Your File Format! #
The most common reason a local upload fails is the file type. Our editor currently only supports .MP4 files. If your recording software saves files as .MKV or .MOV, you will need to convert them to MP4 before uploading them to Eklipse!
