Where to get the Eklipse app, and what to avoid
There are two official builds and no others. On iPhone and iPad it is the App Store. On Android it is Google Play, which is also where the current, signed APK comes from.

- Sideloaded or modified APKs from other sites are not ours. They are unsigned, they do not update, and putting your Twitch or YouTube login into one is a real account risk

Where do I download the Eklipse app?
The App Store on iPhone and iPad, and Google Play on Android. Those are the only two official builds. Both are free to install, and the buttons at the top of this page go straight to them.
Is there an Eklipse APK, and is it safe to download one?
The official Android APK is the one Google Play installs and updates for you, so there is no reason to look elsewhere. Files offered as an Eklipse APK or a modified build on third-party sites are not published by us. They are unsigned, they will not receive updates, and signing into one with your Twitch, Kick or YouTube account puts those credentials somewhere you cannot see. Use Google Play.
Does the app work without a PC?
Yes, once your channel is connected. Eklipse reads your broadcast on its own side, so after the initial connection you never need a desktop. Console streamers use it exactly this way, since there is nothing to install on the console either.
Do I need a separate account for mobile?
No. It is one Eklipse account across web and mobile. Clips, connected channels and your plan all follow you between them, so anything you start on a laptop finishes on the phone.
Will it drain my battery or fill my storage?
Neither, because the phone is not doing the work. Detection, reframing, captioning and rendering all run on Eklipse servers, and you only download a finished clip if you choose to save one. There is no VOD sitting on your device.

Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Facebook. Connect one or several, and clips from each land in the same list in the app.
Is the Eklipse app free?
Downloading the app and creating an account cost nothing, and you can connect a channel and look around. Generating AI clips is part of the paid product, and there is no zero-cost tier. The standalone browser tools at eklipse.gg/tool do not cost anything and need no account.
