This guide walks you through upgrading your Eklipse account to Premium before the Gameplay Intelligence launch on June 1, 2026, so your highlight generation continues without interruption.
Before You Start #
You need an existing Eklipse account. No account yet? Create your free account first, then upgrade.
Have your payment method ready (credit card or PayPal, depending on region). Decide between Monthly and Annual billing before you upgrade, Annual is the lower effective monthly rate over 12 months.

How to Upgrade to Eklipse Premium #
Step 1: Sign in to Eklipse #
- Go to app.eklipse.gg and sign in.
Step 2: Open the Pricing page #
- From your dashboard, click your account icon (top right) and select Upgrade Plan. You can also open the Eklipse Pricing page directly.
Step 3: Choose Monthly or Annual #
- Compare the two billing cycles:
- Monthly, pay every 30 days, cancel anytime.
- Annual, pay once for 12 months at a lower effective monthly rate.
- Click Upgrade on the plan you want.

Step 4: Enter payment details #
- Enter your payment method.
- Confirm the billing region and any applicable tax.
- Click Confirm Upgrade.
Step 5: Verify Premium is active #
- You will be returned to your dashboard.
- Your account icon should now show a Premium badge.
- Open Settings → Billing to confirm the plan, billing cycle, and next renewal date.

What Happens on June 1, 2026 #
If you upgrade before June 1: #
Your Premium account runs on the previous highlight engine until the launch date.
On June 1, 2026, your account automatically switches to Gameplay Intelligence. No action required from you.
Every VOD processed from that date forward uses Advanced Moment Detection, scene-aware context, and per-genre tuning.
All Premium features stay active, Pro Edits, watermark removal, priority processing, and higher clip limits.
If you wait until after June 1: #
Your free account receives 3 highlights generated by Gameplay Intelligence.
After those 3 highlights, you can still use Instant Edit, Convert to TikTok, manual editing, and your Twitch connection on the free plan.
To generate more Gameplay Intelligence highlights, you upgrade to Premium at that point.
Troubleshooting #
Q: I upgraded but my account still shows as Free. #
A: Refresh your dashboard or sign out and back in. If the Premium badge still does not appear, check Settings → Billing to confirm the payment went through. If billing shows the new plan but the badge does not appear within 10 minutes, contact support.
Q: I want to switch from Monthly to Annual before June 1. #
A: Open Settings → Billing → Change Plan and select Annual. Your existing Monthly billing prorates against the Annual price, and your renewal date updates.
Q: Can I cancel after upgrading? #
A: Yes. Open Settings → Billing → Cancel Plan. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. Annual plans follow the same rule, you keep Premium through the paid period.
Q: Does upgrading reset my clip library or settings? #
A: No. Your clip library, connected accounts, export presets, and saved templates stay exactly as they are. Upgrading only changes your plan tier.
Q: What happens if my payment fails on renewal? #
A: Eklipse retries the payment over a 7-day grace period and emails you. During the grace period, your Premium features stay active. If payment is not resolved, the account drops to free, but your existing clips and connected accounts remain available.
Q: Will the price of Premium go up on or after June 1, 2026? #
A: The Gameplay Intelligence launch does not include a price change. If pricing changes in the future, current Premium subscribers are notified before any renewal at a new rate.
