No, you don’t necessarily need to be a live streamer to use Eklipse! If you just want to record your gameplay offline and clip the most important scenes later, you can absolutely do that.
How to get clips without streaming #
You can upload local video files directly from your computer or mobile device and let Eklipse’s AI create clips automatically from them. To do this, simply use the Import feature or click Import Stream from your home dashboard, and select the option to upload a local file.
A quick note on AI accuracy #
While uploading local files works great, please keep in mind that Eklipse is heavily optimized for live broadcasts. To experience the absolute best of what Eklipse has to offer—including the highest AI accuracy and real-time stream analysis—we generally recommend using VODs from livestreams, especially for fast-paced gameplay content.
However, local uploads are still a fantastic way to turn your offline gaming sessions into shareable highlights!
Check Your File Format! #
Before uploading your offline gameplay, make sure your video file is saved in .MP4 format and is under 10GB in size to ensure a smooth and successful upload process.
Ready to upload your gameplay? #
Head over to your dashboard, click “Import Stream,” and select the local upload option to let our AI find your best moments.
