This guide walks you through setting up Eklipse to automatically detect and clip highlights from Kick VODs, so you can post ready-to-share clips to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram Reels.
—
Before You Start #
- Active Eklipse account (create one free)
- A Kick channel with recorded VODs, or access to a Kick VOD URL you want to clip
- The stream must be recorded, Eklipse processes VODs, not live feeds

How to Clip Kick Streams with Eklipse #
Step 1–2: Connect Your Kick Account #
1. Log in to app.eklipse.gg and go to Settings → Connected Accounts
2. Connect your Kick account using the Kick stream clipper integration, this lets Eklipse access your VODs directly without manual URL entry
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Capture the Connected Accounts screen with Kick listed as an option.
Step 3–5: Import a Kick VOD #
3. Go to the Dashboard and select New Clip or Import VOD
4. Select Kick as the source, your recent VODs will appear automatically if your account is connected; alternatively, paste the Kick VOD URL directly
5. Choose the VOD you want to clip and confirm the import
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Show the source selection screen with Kick highlighted and a VOD list populating.
Step 6–7: Run AI Highlight Detection #
6. Select your game category from the dropdown, Eklipse’s AI highlight detection uses game-aware models, so picking the right category (FPS, Battle Royale, IRL, etc.) improves clip precision
7. Start processing, Eklipse scans the VOD and surfaces your best moments: kills, clutches, squad wipes, reaction peaks
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Capture the processing screen showing the AI scanning progress on a Kick VOD.
Step 8–9: Review and Edit Clips #
8. Review detected clips in your library, each clip shows the moment type and timestamp; deselect any that don’t fit
9. Open a clip in Eklipse Studio to trim, add captions, or apply vertical formatting for TikTok and Shorts
> 📸 Screenshot tip: Show the clip library with Kick-sourced clips listed, and one open in Studio.
Step 10: Export or Schedule #
10. Export clips directly or use the Content Publisher to schedule posts to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels from inside Eklipse
—
What Happens Next #
After exporting, your Kick highlights are formatted and ready to post. Eklipse processes the full VOD in minutes, a 4-hour stream typically yields 5–10 clip candidates. For consistent posting, set up a weekly schedule in Content Publisher to keep your clip output steady without manually revisiting each stream.

Troubleshooting #
Q: My Kick VODs aren’t showing up after connecting my account.
A: Check that your Kick channel has VODs set to public or unlisted, private recordings may not be accessible. You can also paste the direct VOD URL as a fallback.
Q: The AI is missing clips from my IRL or talking-stream content.
A: Switch the game category to IRL / Just Chatting before processing, Eklipse has separate detection models for non-gameplay content that catch reaction peaks and high-chat moments.
Q: I want to clip another streamer’s Kick VOD, not my own.
A: Paste the Kick VOD URL directly in the import step, you do not need to be the channel owner. Make sure the VOD is publicly accessible.
