This guide walks you through connecting your Twitch account, picking a stream to process, letting the AI find your highlights, and downloading your first clip.
Before You Start #
- An Eklipse account (sign up is free; AI clip generation requires a paid plan)
- A Twitch account with VODs saved — turn on Store past broadcasts in your Twitch settings if you haven’t
- At least one stream between 15 minutes and 5 hours long, broadcast in the last 14 days
Step 1–4: Connect Your Twitch Account #
1. Open your Eklipse Dashboard and click Profile in the top-right corner.
2. Go to Account Settings, then open Connected Account.
3. Click Connect next to Twitch. A Twitch authorization pop-up opens.
4. Grant the permissions Twitch asks for. The pop-up closes and Twitch shows as connected.

Step 5–7: Pick a VOD to Process #
5. Open Video Library and select the Streams tab. Streams from your connected channel appear here automatically after each broadcast.
6. Click Pull Manually if the stream you want isn’t listed. This pulls your last 14 days of VODs that meet the 15-minute-to-5-hour length rule.
7. Click Get Clip next to the stream you want. That hands the VOD to the AI for analysis.

Step 8–9: Let the AI Find Your Highlights #
8. Wait for processing. The AI scans the VOD for kills, reactions, chat spikes, and other standouts moments. Most streams finish in minutes; a four-hour VOD can take up to an hour.
9. Check the Processed filter under Streams in your Video Library. You’ll also get an email and an in-app bell notification when the clips are ready.
Step 10–12: Download Your First Clip #
10. Open the processed stream to see the clips the AI selected. Each one is already trimmed to the moment and formatted 9:16 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
11. Click Export — the blue button in the top-right corner of Eklipse Studio.
12. Click Download in the pop-up to save the MP4 to your device.

What Happens Next #
Your clip downloads as a vertical MP4 sized for short-form platforms, ready to post as-is. Future streams from your connected channel import automatically. From there, just open Video Library → Streams and hit Get Clip. Troubleshooting #
Q: My stream isn’t showing up in Video Library.
A: Click Pull Manually to fetch the last 14 days of VODs. If it still doesn’t appear, check that the VOD is between 15 minutes and 5 hours and that past broadcasts are saved on Twitch.
Q: Processing has been stuck for over an hour.
A: Hard-refresh the page, then re-import the VOD to retry. Streams over four hours legitimately take longer, so give a long VOD at least an hour before retrying.
Q: The AI picked moments I don’t want.
A: Open the clip in Eklipse Studio and adjust the start and end points before exporting. The AI selection is a starting point, not a final cut.
