This guide shows you how to add memes to a gaming clip with AI Edit on the web, and how to apply the Funny style in the Eklipse mobile app.
Before You Start #
- An Eklipse account. Signing up is free; AI Edit is part of Eklipse’s paid plans.
- A clip between 15 seconds and 3 minutes long: a Twitch or Kick clip URL, a clip from your AI Highlights, or an MP4 under 1 GB.
- On the web, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop or laptop. The Funny style is in the Eklipse mobile app (iOS and Android).
Steps 1-4: Add Memes with AI Edit on the Web #
- Click AI Edit in your Eklipse dashboard.
- Choose your clip: paste a Twitch or Kick clip URL, pick one from your AI Highlights, or upload a video. Then click Get Clip.
- Turn on memes in the customization options, alongside aspect ratio, text, and auto-captions.
- Click Generate AI Edit. AI Edit places the meme for you. The standard layout adds up to one meme per clip; Premium gives you finer control over what gets applied.

Steps 5-8: Apply the Funny Style in the Mobile App #
- Tap Create on the main menu, then AI Edit.
- Tap Upload clip to pick a video from your gallery, or start from a generated clip.
- Choose a layout on Step 1 of 2 · Layout, then tap Continue to styles.
- Tap FUNNY in the style preview grid on Step 2 of 2 · Style, then tap Export. Tap Edit instead if you want to open the full editor first.

What AI Edit Adds #
An AI-edited clip can include a popular social media meme, sound effects, and visual effects such as zoom-in or slow motion, on top of the vertical reframe and captions. You choose whether memes are on; AI Edit decides where the meme lands.
Review or Remove the Memes #
If the result is too much, you can strip the memes back out:
- Open your clip in the Editor from your Library.
- Find the Template or Meme Style section in the right-hand panel.
- Select No Template, or choose a basic layout such as a standard facecam and gameplay split.
- Save or export the clip again.
This removes the meme overlays, sound effects, and extra captions, leaving clean gameplay.
What Happens Next #
Download the edited clip, or post it directly to social media from Eklipse. On the web, click Re-submit if you want a different version. To compare layouts before you pick a style, see How to choose a layout in AI Edit.
