This guide shows you how to take Call of Duty highlights you’ve already picked in Eklipse and stitch them into one vertical montage with the Call of Duty Montage Maker.
Before You Start #
- Your COD highlights saved as MP4, WEBM, or MOV files, or as Twitch clip links
- 2 to 6 clips. That’s the range the montage maker accepts.
- An audio file if you want your own backing track
How to Build Your COD Montage #
Step 1–2: Pick and Order Your Highlights #
- Choose the plays that belong in the montage: clutches, multi-kills, a clean snipe, or the round that went sideways in a funny way. Skip clips where nothing happens in the first few seconds.
- Decide the order before you add anything. Open with a strong play, put your best one last, and avoid stacking two near-identical kills back to back.

Step 3–4: Get the Clips Out of Eklipse #
- Download each highlight you picked from your Eklipse clips as an MP4.
- Rename the files with a number (01, 02, 03) so they’re easy to add in the order you planned.
Step 5–8: Assemble and Edit the Montage #
- Open the Call of Duty Montage Maker and use the Upload Call of Duty clips tab, or paste your Twitch clip links.
- Click Add clip for each highlight. The tool finds the busiest few seconds of each clip, usually the multikill or the clutch, and trims to it.
- Drag the slider on any clip where the auto-trim missed the moment you wanted.
- Set the format: ratio (9:16, 4:5, or 1:1), seconds per clip (2.5, 3.5, or 5), and whether to keep voice and game sound under the music. Drop in an audio file to use it as the backing track.

Step 9: Export #
- Click Preview to check the cut, then Export montage to download it.
What Happens Next #
Your montage downloads as one vertical video with no watermark: MP4 where your browser supports it, otherwise WebM. Processing happens in your browser, so your clips are never uploaded. Post it straight to TikTok or YouTube Shorts, or schedule it through Content Publisher. Troubleshooting #
Q: I need to rearrange clips after adding them.
A: The montage maker has no reorder control. For drag-and-drop ordering on a timeline, use Create Montage from your Eklipse dashboard instead. See How to Combine or Merge Multiple Clips into a Montage.
Q: My YouTube or TikTok link won’t load.
A: The tool can’t read those links. Download the video and upload the file, or use a Twitch clip link.
Q: The auto-trim picked the wrong moment.
A: Drag that clip’s slider to the play you want before you export.
