Keep your contract-loading and debriefing screens visible alongside your investigation footage. These screens provide contract and result information that can be hidden by overlays or scene changes.
1. Confirm game availability #
Check the Eklipse supported games list for Phasmophobia and review the options in your account. Eklipse can help you find highlights, but it may not select every scare or ghost hunt.
2. Select the correct game category #
Set the game category to Phasmophobia.
- On Twitch, update the category in your stream information.
- On YouTube, select Gaming and enter Phasmophobia as the game title.
- On other connected platforms, select the matching game before you go live.
Update the category when you move to or from another game.
3. Keep key game information visible #
Do not assess your layout only while walking through a location. Check loading and debriefing screens too.
| Game information | Where to check | What to keep visible |
|---|---|---|
| Travel heading | Near the top of the loading screen | “Now travelling to…” |
| Map name | Upper-middle below the travel heading | The destination name |
| Loading progress | Bottom-middle of the loading screen | The “Initializing” percentage |
| Debriefing heading and summary | Top-left and left-to-middle of the debriefing screen | Result information, payment, and statistics when shown |
| Ghost type | Lower-middle of the debriefing screen; check your game version | The revealed ghost type |
Debriefing screen layouts can vary by game version. Check the actual screen rather than relying on a corner that looks empty during gameplay.
Recommended stream overlays #

Prefer the top-right or bottom-right for your overlay. Top-left and bottom-left are not ideal. Choose one position and check it in your stream preview.
Good overlay placement:
- Start with a small facecam in the top-right or bottom-right corner.
- Leave space between the facecam and lower-middle result text.
- Keep loading and debriefing screens in your game-capture scene.
Avoid:
- Top banners that cover the travel heading or map name.
- Bottom-center widgets that cover loading progress or the ghost type.
- Large left-side chat panels that hide the debriefing summary.
- “Be right back” scenes that replace loading or result screens.
Treat the suggested positions as starting points. Check all contract stages before you keep the layout.
4. Make the recording accessible #
Confirm that your Eklipse workflow can access the source recording. If you’re importing a platform VOD, make sure the saved video is still available and doesn’t have restrictions that prevent importing.
Use the privacy settings required by your selected recording method. Do not make a private stream public without a workflow-specific reason.
5. Keep the game image readable #
Capture the full game image without cropping the loading or debriefing screens. Avoid filters that make text unreadable or hide detail in dark scenes. If you change the language, resolution, or UI settings, repeat the recording check.
Before you go live #
Record a contract-loading screen, investigation footage, and a debriefing screen with your normal overlays enabled. Replay the recording at broadcast resolution. Confirm that the destination, loading text, summary, and ghost type remain readable.
Open Eklipse to review your session’s clips.
