We know exactly how frustrating it is when a clip cuts off right before your best reaction or misses the build-up to an epic play! We always try our best to ensure our AI captures the full context of a highlight so the clips are exactly the length you expect.
Our AI algorithm looks for spikes in action, multi-kills, and audio cues to determine where a clip should start and end. Sometimes, if the action is very fast or the audio drops, the AI might cut the clip a little bit shorter than you would like.
How to get a better clip #
If you get a highlight that feels cut off, we highly recommend resubmitting your stream. Giving the AI a fresh chance to scan the VOD can often result in a better, longer cut of that exact same moment!
We are always improving! #
We take clip duration very seriously, and we genuinely appreciate you bringing this up. We are constantly sharing this feedback directly with our development team so we can continue training the AI to better understand gameplay pacing, reaction times, and context.
Extend It Yourself! #
Did you know you can manually fix a short clip? If you open your highlight in the Eklipse Studio editor, you can often use the timeline tools to trim or extend the start and end times of the clip manually to grab that missing context.
