Wondering where your finished video went? When you export a clip, the final MP4 file is usually saved directly to your computer or phone’s default Downloads folder.
But don’t worry if you misplace the file or are switching devices! Eklipse automatically saves all your finished clips securely in your dashboard so you can access, review, or re-download them at any time.
How to find your exported clips on the Eklipse dashboard:
- Go to Your Dashboard: From your Home screen, click on the Edits tab located in the main menu.
- Open Exported Clips: Under the Edits menu, click on the Exported Clips section. This folder acts as your personal library and contains every video you’ve finalized (including AI Edits, TikTok Conversions, Trimmed Clips, Montages, and Pro Edits).
- Watch and Review: Click on any clip in this folder to watch the final render.
- Take Action: From the review screen, you have full control. You can download the MP4 again, share it directly to your linked social media accounts, or jump back into the Editor if you need to make a few last-minute changes!
Check Your Browser Settings! #
If you clicked export and can’t find the file on your computer, your browser might be saving files to a custom folder instead of the default “Downloads” folder. You can usually check your recent downloads by pressing Ctrl + J (Windows) or Cmd + Option + L (Mac) in your web browser!
