If you have successfully linked your Twitch account but your recent streams still aren’t appearing in your Eklipse dashboard, the fix is usually very simple!
By default, Twitch does not save your streams after you go offline. If the “Store past broadcasts” option is turned off in your Twitch settings, your VOD is immediately deleted when your stream ends, which means Eklipse has no video file to pull up and process.
How to enable past broadcasts on Twitch #
To ensure your future streams are saved and show up in Eklipse without any issues, follow these quick steps from your computer:
- Go to your Twitch Creator Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings on the left-hand menu.
- Select Stream.
- Scroll down to the VOD/Stream Settings section and turn on the Store past broadcasts toggle.
Important: Make sure this setting is turned on before you go live for your next stream! Once it is enabled, Eklipse will be able to automatically pull up your streams as soon as you finish broadcasting.
Past Streams Cannot Be Recovered! #
Keep in mind that turning this setting on will only save your future streams. Unfortunately, any streams you completed while “Store past broadcasts” was turned off are permanently deleted by Twitch and cannot be recovered by Eklipse.
