We know it can be frustrating and confusing to scroll through your dashboard and see the exact same gaming moments appear twice! This usually happens for a simple reason: a stream was accidentally processed more than once by our AI.
When a VOD is submitted for processing a second time, the AI scans it as a brand new video and generates the exact same highlights all over again.
How to fix it and prevent duplicates:
- Process each stream only once: Avoid manually submitting the same stream URL or uploading the same video file multiple times.
- Remove existing duplicates: Head to your dashboard and simply delete any extra clips from your library to keep your workspace clean.
- Reprocess carefully: Only process a stream again if absolutely necessary (for example, if a previous processing attempt failed or resulted in an error).
By following these simple steps, you can ensure your clip library remains clean, organized, and free of repeating moments!
Check Your Auto-Process Settings! #
If you have your Twitch or Kick account connected and set to “Auto-Process,” Eklipse will automatically pull your streams. If you also manually upload the same stream URL afterward, you will end up with duplicates!
