When you order a Pro Edit, you are handing your footage over to a real, professional human editor! To make sure they can bring your exact vision to life, the request form will ask you to provide the following key materials and preferences:
1. Your Video Clips #
This is the most important material! You will start by clicking the “Add Clips” button to select footage directly from your Eklipse library, or you can upload your own raw video clips from your computer.
2. Your Video Preferences #
Next, you will provide specific instructions for the editor by filling out your preferences. You will be asked to define:
- Output Format: Choose between Landscape (for YouTube) or Portrait (for TikTok, Shorts, Reels).
- Clip Style: Select the overall tone you want for the video, such as Epic, Sweaty, or Funny.
- Effect Options: Check the boxes for any specific effects you want included, such as Zooms, Sound Effects, Subtitles, and Memes.
- Detailed Instructions: This is the most crucial step. Use the text box to give detailed, written instructions. The more specific you are—mentioning exact timestamps, explaining the context of a joke, or suggesting meme ideas—the better your final edit will be!
3. Your Custom Assets (Optional) #
If you have your own channel branding, you can also upload custom assets to the order form. This includes materials like custom intros, animated outros, or specific background music files you want the editor to use.
Provide a Reference Link! #
The absolute best way to make sure your editor understands the “vibe” you want is to drop a link to an existing YouTube or TikTok video in your Detailed Instructions. If you say, “Edit this like a typical FaZe montage,” pasting a link to an example guarantees they hit the mark!
