We believe you should always have full control over your digital footprint. If you choose to delete your Eklipse account, here is exactly what happens to your data:
1. Permanent Removal of Your Content #
After your account deletion is confirmed, your data and clips are permanently removed from our active servers. This includes:
- All your raw and edited video clips.
- Your connected social and streaming account links (tokens are revoked).
- Your profile information and preferences.
2. It Cannot Be Undone #
Because we wipe this data completely to respect your privacy, account deletion is irreversible. Once the data is gone, our support team cannot recover your lost clips or reactivate your old account.
3. Brief Retention for Legal & Security Purposes #
While your videos and profile are wiped immediately, some basic backend information (such as transaction records if you were a Premium subscriber, or basic server logs) may be kept briefly. This is strictly required for legal compliance, tax reporting, and preventing fraud or security abuse. This retained data is highly restricted and automatically purged once the legal retention period expires.

Because account deletion is permanent, all of your saved highlights and edited videos will be lost forever. Please make sure to download any clips you want to keep to your personal device before initiating an account deletion.
