Yes, it is 100% safe. We understand that your streaming account is your business, and we take your security very seriously.
When you connect your Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or social media accounts to Eklipse, your data is protected by industry-standard security protocols.
Here is exactly how we keep your account safe:
- Official APIs Only: We use the official authorization systems (OAuth) provided by the platforms themselves.
- We Never See Your Password: When you connect an account, you are logging in directly through that platform’s secure portal (e.g., the official Twitch login page). Eklipse never sees, collects, or stores your password.
- Strict Permission Limits: The permissions we request are limited strictly to what the AI needs to do its job. We only ask for access to view your VODs (to create clips) and publish content (if you use our Auto-Post feature).
- No Unwanted Actions: Eklipse cannot change your stream settings, read your private DMs, or go live on your behalf.
How to disconnect? You are always in control. You can revoke Eklipse’s access at any time directly from your Twitch, YouTube, or Kick account settings under “Connected Apps,” or from the Eklipse dashboard.
