The Problem In tactical shooters like Arc Raiders, squad communication is as important as the gameplay. If your Eklipse clips have game sounds but missing Discord voice chat, it is usually because your OBS audio tracks are split, and the voice chat isn’t being sent to the stream VOD track.
The Solution: Configure OBS Audio Tracks #
Eklipse AI processes the video directly from your Twitch/YouTube VOD. To ensure both game audio and Discord appear in your clips, both audio sources must be checked on the Main Streaming Track (usually Track 1) in OBS.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Open OBS Studio while Arc Raiders and Discord are open.
- In the Audio Mixer panel (bottom center), right-click on the “Desktop Audio” or your specific “Discord Audio” source.
- Select Advanced Audio Properties.
- Look at the matrix of checkboxes on the right side.
- Ensure that Track 1 (or your streaming track) is CHECKED for both:
- Game Audio (Arc Raiders)
- Voice Chat Audio (Discord/TeamSpeak)
- Test it: Do a short recording/stream and check if you can hear your teammates.
Troubleshooting
- My Voice is missing (Microphone): In the same “Advanced Audio Properties” window, ensure your Mic/Aux input also has Track 1 checked.
- I use Twitch VOD Track (Track 6): If you use a specific VOD track to avoid copyright music (usually Track 6), ensure Arc Raiders and Discord are ALSO checked for Track 6, otherwise, they won’t appear in the saved video that Eklipse processes.
- Audio is too quiet: Adjust the volume sliders in the Audio Mixer. A good rule of thumb is Game Audio at -10dB and Voice Chat at -5dB.
✨ Quick Fix: Check Your Tracks #
Eklipse processes the final stream VOD. You must ensure Discord is routed to the same audio track as your Game Audio in OBS (usually Track 1).
Audio Settings Correct? #
Your squad comms should now be crisp. Start streaming and let AI capture the action!
