We are sorry you are running into this formatting issue! If you notice that your text or captions are misaligned—especially if they seem to be shifting heavily to the right side or running off the edge of the video—it is usually because the text line is too wide for the vertical screen format.
Because TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels use a narrow 9:16 vertical ratio, long, continuous sentences will simply push horizontally off the screen.
How to fix text alignment:
- Keep Lines Shorter: Try keeping your text phrasing shorter so it naturally fits within the width of the video frame.
- Use Line Breaks: If you need to include a longer sentence or explanation, simply press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard while typing to add manual line breaks. This forces the text to stack cleanly on top of itself so it stays perfectly inside the clip’s boundaries.
Let us know if this helps format your text properly! If you are still experiencing weird shifts after adding line breaks, reach out to our support team.

Keeping your text centered and stacked with line breaks doesn’t just fix alignment in Eklipse—it also prevents your text from being covered up by the Like, Comment, and Share buttons when you post your video to TikTok or Shorts!
