It feels like magic, but it’s actually advanced machine learning! Eklipse creates clips automatically by detecting your stream, then using AI to process and highlight key moments immediately after it ends.
Here is the exact step-by-step breakdown of how the engine works in the background:
1. Stream Detection (We watch for you to go live) Once you connect your Twitch, YouTube, or Kick account to Eklipse, our system “listens” for your channel status. When you start streaming, Eklipse detects it. You don’t need to press any record buttons or run heavy software on your PC.
2. AI Processing (The heavy lifting) As soon as your stream ends and the VOD (Video on Demand) becomes available, our AI engines go to work in the cloud. The AI scans the entire broadcast looking for two main things:
- In-Game Cues: It recognizes specific game interfaces to detect multi-kills, clutches, headshots, and victories (supported in over 100+ games).
- Audio & Chat Cues: It listens for sudden spikes in your microphone volume (like yelling or laughing) and monitors chat velocity (like a sudden wave of “POG” or “KEKW” emotes).
3. Highlight Generation (Clips are ready) Based on the data it gathers, the AI cuts the footage into bite-sized, high-action clips. Within a few hours (or much faster if you have Premium Priority Processing), you will receive an email notification that your highlights are ready in your dashboard.
From there, you can take these raw highlights into the Eklipse Studio to convert them into vertical TikToks, Shorts, or Reels!
