Don’t panic! Sometimes a post fails to publish due to a temporary glitch with a social media platform, a lapsed login token, or a brief connection drop.
Eklipse offers a simple recovery workflow to handle failed posts. You can easily fix the issue and requeue any post that didn’t publish correctly by following these steps:
Step 1: Open Your Content Publisher #
From the Eklipse home screen, tap the Calendar Icon located on the top menu to open your Content Publisher.
Step 2: Find the Failed Post #
Scan your calendar for the post that didn’t go live. It will be clearly marked with a red “Failed” status indicator.
Step 3: Open the Editor #
Tap directly on the failed post. This will open up the standard editing window where your video, captions, and hashtags are still safely saved.
Step 4: Make Necessary Edits #
Make any adjustments needed before trying again. For example, if the original time slot passed, select a new time. If the post failed due to an account connection error, be sure to reconnect your TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram account in your settings first.
Step 5: Requeue Your Post #
Once everything looks good, simply tap the Share button. This will place the post right back into your active publishing queue, ready to go live at the new scheduled time!
Why did my post fail? #
The most common reason a post fails to publish is a disconnected social account! Platforms like TikTok and YouTube regularly expire their security tokens. Before rescheduling, head to your Account Settings and make sure your social connections are active.
