Want every play, ultimate, and team fight from your Overwatch 2 stream saved automatically? Use this checklist to set up your stream correctly. It covers correct setup, overlay placement, and in-game settings so Eklipse AI, your Overwatch 2 clipping software, never misses your best moments.
✅ 1. Confirm Overwatch 2 Is Supported #
Eklipse only works if the game is supported in its system. Check the Eklipse Supported Games List and confirm Overwatch 2 is included.
✅ 2. Select the Correct Game Category #
Eklipse detects highlights based on the game category you stream under. If your stream is not tagged as Overwatch 2, clips may be missed.
Twitch #
- Go to Creator Dashboard → Stream Manager
- Edit “Stream Info” → Set category to Overwatch 2
YouTube #
- Open YouTube Studio → Go Live
- Choose “Stream” → Click Edit
- Set Category to Gaming → Enter Overwatch 2 as game title
Facebook Gaming #
- Start Live Stream → Under Gaming, select Overwatch 2
✅ 3. Keep Overwatch 2 HUD Elements Visible #
Eklipse reads your in-game HUD to detect highlights. If these elements are covered, clips may be missed.
Must stay visible:
- Kill/Elimination Feed: top right corner
- Health Bar / Armor / Shields: bottom left
- Ultimate Charge & Ability HUD: bottom center
- Scoreboard / Objective Progress: top center
Safe to cover:
- Chat Box: bottom right
- Minimap: optional but best left uncovered
Recommended Stream Overlays: Do’s and Don’ts #
✅ Good Overlay Placement
- Facecam in the bottom corners that do not block HUD
- Alerts positioned away from the elimination feed or health bar
- All key HUD elements are visible

❌ Bad Overlay Placement
- Facecam covering elimination feed or health bar
- Alerts blocking the scoreboard or objective progress
- Widgets overlapping the ultimate/ability HUD

✅ 4. Set Stream Visibility to Public #
Eklipse cannot process Private or Unlisted streams. Always set your stream to Public before going live.
✅ 5. Use Correct Language and HUD Settings #
For the best detection accuracy, keep Overwatch 2 on default settings.
- In-game language: English
- HUD and elimination feed: default style and colors
- Avoid mods or overlays that hide or change HUD elements
