If the “AI Edit“ button is greyed out or the processing fails halfway through, it is usually due to a browser conflict, an account limit, or a file issue. Please follow these troubleshooting steps in order.
1. Check Browser Compatibility (Most Common) #
Eklipse is a powerful browser-based tool. If your browser is outdated or restricted, the AI cannot run.
- Supported Browsers: We strongly recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop/laptop. Mobile browsers may have limitations.
- Hardware Acceleration: Ensure “Hardware Acceleration” is turned ON in your browser settings.
- Extensions: Ad-blockers or heavy privacy extensions (like Ghostery) can block the AI editor. Try disabling them or using Incognito Mode.
2. The “Greyed Out” Button: Account & File Issues #
If you cannot click the button at all, check the following:
- Monthly Limit Reached: You may have used all your AI Edit credits for the month. Check your usage on the Account Page.
- Incompatible File:
- Format: Must be MP4.
- Size: Must be under 1GB for manual uploads.
- Type: The AI works best on raw gameplay. Uploading highly edited montages may confuse the AI detection.
- Source VOD Removed: If you are trying to edit a clip from a stream, ensure the original VOD is still public on Twitch/YouTube. If the VOD was deleted or sub-locked, Eklipse cannot access it.
3. Processing Errors (Stuck or Failed) #
If the process starts but freezes or fails:
- Connection Timeout: A momentary dip in internet speed can kill the upload. Ensure a stable connection.
- The “10-Minute” Rule: If processing takes longer than 10 minutes, the session has likely timed out. Refresh the page and try again.
- Internal Error: Rarely, our servers might be busy. Wait 5 minutes and try again.
