Yes! Signing up for Eklipse is completely free. As an AI highlight maker, Eklipse lets you start turning your gameplay into shareable clips right away. With the Free plan, you get a limited number of AI-powered clips each month to showcase your best moments.

What is the very first thing I need to do after logging in? #
To start, give Eklipse AI your gameplay to analyze. You have two simple options:
- Connect a Streaming Account: Link your Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, or Rumble account for automatic clip generation from your past and future streams.
- Upload a Video File: Directly upload a video you’ve already recorded on your computer.
For your first time, we recommend connecting your stream account. It’s the fastest and most popular way to see the magic of Eklipse’s AI at work.
Do I need to install software or prepare any files to use Eklipse? #
No, installation is not required on a computer. You have flexible ways to use Eklipse:
- On PC or Mac: Use Eklipse directly in your web browser.
- On Mobile: Get the full-featured app from the App Store or Google Play for on-the-go gameplay clipping.
For first-time users, we recommend starting with the PC web browser version, as this guide follows that workflow for easy game clip generation.
How do I connect my Twitch, YouTube, Kick, or Facebook account to Eklipse? #
- From your Eklipse Dashboard, click “Profile” in the top-right corner and go to “Account Settings”.
- Navigate to “Connected Account” then select “Connect” next to the streaming platform you want to link (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, or Rumble).
- A pop-up window will appear. Follow the instructions to grant permissions to complete the connection.
Your account is now connected, and Eklipse will start detecting your streams automatically.
Is it safe to connect my streaming account to Eklipse? #
Yes. Eklipse uses official APIs from platforms like Twitch and YouTube, so we never see or store your password. Permissions are only used so our AI can access your VODs and generate highlights automatically. We will never post anything or access private data without your consent.
See our Account & Privacy Policy for full details.
How does Eklipse automatically create clips? #
Just start your stream as usual. Eklipse will detect when you go live and process your stream after it ends to generate AI‑powered highlights automatically.
Where do I find my clips and highlights? #
You can find all your AI‑generated clips in the Processed section of your dashboard:
- From your Eklipse Dashboard, click the Clips tab in the main menu.
- Under Streams, select Processed to view your highlights.
How long does it take for Eklipse to generate my clips? #
Your clips usually appear within a few minutes after your stream ends. Processing time may vary depending on stream length, so you can refresh the page to check for new highlights.
How does the Eklipse AI highlight maker decide which gameplay moments to capture? #
Eklipse AI detects exciting, shareable moments by analyzing:
- Player actions like kills, clutches, or boss fights
- Game sounds and on‑screen elements to verify key events
- Voice commands like “Clip it!” for manual highlights
- Trained on 1,000+ games, Eklipse automatically creates game‑aware AI highlights without manual editing.
How do I perform basic edits in Eklipse Studio? #
- From your Eklipse Dashboard, go to Video Library → Streams.
- Select the clip you want to edit and click Edit to open Eklipse Studio.
- Choose a vertical template for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.
- Trim your clip, then add text, captions, stickers, or music to customize.
- Export your clip to download or share directly to social media.
Your highlight is now ready to post and share with your audience.
How do I save, export, or share my finished video? #
- When you are happy with all your edits inside the Eklipse Studio, click the blue “Export” button, located in the top-right corner of the screen.
- A new window will pop up while Eklipse processes your final video. This usually only takes a moment.
- Once finished, in the same pop-up window, you can:
– Click Download to save the MP4 file directly to your device.
– Click the icon for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram to share your clip directly.
For future access, you can always find this finished clip saved in the “Edited Clips” section of your dashboard.
Will my exported video have a watermark? #
Yes, clips created on the Eklipse Free plan will have a small watermark. Upgrade to a Premium plan to remove watermarks and unlock higher export quality. See full details on our Subscription & Pricing page.
