AI clip finder: find the best clips in your VOD

Upload a stream recording or VOD and Eklipse’s AI clip finder scans the whole video for your most clippable moments — ranked by on-screen action and noise, with a timestamp and score for each. Preview and export the ones you want. No login.

Trusted by 1.5M+ streamers · rated 4.2 on Trustpilot · 100% free, no watermark

Best for recordings up to ~30–40 min. For a full multi-hour Twitch/Kick VOD, the Eklipse Suite scans the whole thing automatically — see the link tab.
Twitch & Kick VODs are hours long, so they hand off to the Eklipse Suite. Direct .mp4 / .webm links are scanned right here.
Full VOD detected

Full Twitch and Kick VODs run for hours — too long to scan in a browser tab. The Eklipse Suite connects to your channel and auto-finds the clips across your entire VOD, then reframes, captions and posts them.

How it works

VOD in, ranked clips out

No scrubbing a two-hour timeline. Drop a recording and the finder scores every moment, then hands you the best ones with a timestamp on each.

STEP 01
Uploading a VOD recording to the Eklipse AI clip finder

Add your VOD

Upload a stream recording or a direct video link — everything is scanned in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

STEP 02
Eklipse AI clip finder scanning the whole VOD for highlight moments

AI scans the video

The finder samples the whole VOD and scores each moment on on-screen action and noise to spot the highlights.

STEP 03
Ranked clip candidates with timestamps and scores in the Eklipse clip finder

Get ranked moments

You get the top moments, each with a timestamp, a thumbnail and a hotness score — ordered by how clippable they are.

STEP 04
Previewing and exporting a found clip from the Eklipse clip finder

Preview & export

Preview any moment in one click, then export the ones you like as a clip — ready for editing, Shorts, Reels or TikTok.

Built to find clips, not score one

A clip finder, not a single-clip grader

Most tools rate a clip you already cut. This one does the hunting: point it at a long VOD and it surfaces the handful of moments worth clipping — the fights, the wins, the loud reactions — so you never scrub a full stream again. Each moment comes with a timestamp and a hotness score, and you preview or export it in a click.

  • Scans the whole recording, not just one clip
  • Ranks moments by on-screen action and audio spikes
  • Timestamp + thumbnail + score on every result
  • Preview in place, export the keepers — nothing uploaded

What it catches

The moments worth clipping

The score blends a spike in on-screen motion with a spike in noise — the combo that usually means something clippable just happened.

Fights & killsBursts of fast on-screen action the score lights up on.
Clutch winsThe motion + reaction spike when a round or game swings.
Loud reactionsRage, hype and big callouts — the audio peaks rank high.
Funny chaosChat-bait chaos and fails that move and get loud at once.
FAQ

AI clip finder questions

How does it find the clips?

The finder samples your video end to end and scores each moment on several signals at once: on-screen action (frame-to-frame motion), scene changes (color-histogram cuts), a structural-novelty curve, and — when your file has sound — loudness and sudden audio spikes. It fuses them, favours moments where the picture and the audio spike together, then snaps each clip’s start and end to a natural pause or cut so nothing is clipped mid-word. Finally it returns a diverse top set (so you don’t get five clips of the same moment), each with a timestamp, a scene tag and a hotness score. You can frame each clip hook-first or with lead-in context.

Can I scan a full Twitch or Kick VOD link?

Full VODs run for hours, which is too much to download and scan inside a browser tab — so a Twitch or Kick VOD link hands off to the Eklipse Suite, which connects to your channel and finds the clips across the entire VOD automatically. To use this free tool right now, upload a recording or paste a direct .mp4 / .webm link.

Is it really free, and is anything uploaded?

Yes — the clip finder is 100% free, needs no account, and runs entirely in your browser. Your video is read locally and never uploaded anywhere. The full Eklipse AI Suite is a paid product.

How long a recording can it handle?

It works best on recordings up to about 30–40 minutes. Longer files still scan, but more coarsely, since everything happens in your browser. For multi-hour VODs, the Suite does the heavy lifting on its servers.

What do I get when I export a moment?

Export records that segment straight from your video — an MP4 where your browser supports it, otherwise WebM, with the original audio. Drop it into your editor, or send it through the Eklipse reframe and caption tools for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.

Can I use a YouTube or TikTok link?

No — browsers can’t read those. Download the video first and upload the file here, or paste a direct .mp4 / .webm link.

Stop scrubbing VODs for clips. Let Eklipse find them all.

You just found the best moments in one recording. Eklipse’s AI Suite watches your whole Twitch and Kick VODs, finds every clip, reframes it vertical, captions it and auto-posts — no upload, no manual scan.
