IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SITE.
This section outlines the terms of service of Eklipse services. Please read these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy carefully before you access or use Eklipse services. By accessing or using Eklipse site and services, you agree to be bound by and abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Website or our Services.
Description of Service
1. Our Services and Your Relationship with Us
Eklipse, (“Eklipse”, “we”, “us” or “our”) owns and operates the websites located at Eklipse (“Site”), where registered users (“users” or “you”) can have access to a variety of activities (“Service”), including to upload, download, generate, edit, display, browse, and share gaming video highlights (“Content”). These Terms of Service state the terms and conditions (“Terms”) that govern your use of the Site and the Service.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service you are agreeing that (i) you are 13 years of age or older, (ii) you comply with and be legally bound by these terms as well as our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue the use of the Service and terminate your Account if you already registered.
You agree that for purposes of advertising dan marketing, all of your videos processed by Eklipse, Eklipse may use them at any time and in its sole discretion, including without limited, cut-ups, or trailers as “promotional assets”.
3. Your Account
Registration and Security
In order to use some features of the Service, you will have to sign up for an account with a username and a valid email address. You must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information and must ensure that this information is kept accurate and up-to-date at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, including but not limited to the restriction of access to your device and/or account. You agree to accept responsibility for any activities or actions that occur under your account and/or password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
You agree that we may access, preserve and disclose your account information and your Content if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with legal process; (b) enforce the Terms; (c) respond to a claim that your Content violates the rights of third parties; (d) respond if you contact us; or (e) protect the rights, property or personal safety of the Company, Users and the public.
Payment Security and Data Protection
Your payment data is protected using industry-standard encryption and security measures. We comply with all relevant data protection regulations to ensure your information remains secure.
4. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in laws, regulations, industry standards, or enhancements to Eklipse and our services. When we make significant changes, we will provide you with advance notice. We encourage you to review these Terms regularly to stay updated on our policies. By continuing to use Eklipse after any updates, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of our services.
5. Paid Service Terms
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
These Paid Services Terms apply to purchases such as Premium subscriptions or ProEdits services. By making a purchase, you agree to these terms and our acceptance policy.
Use of Paid Services
Eklipse utilizes third-party payment processors for handling transactions. By providing your payment details, you confirm that: (i) you are authorized to use the payment method provided; (ii) you will make payments for the services by the due date; (iii) the payment information you provide is accurate and true; (iv) we may store the payment information and method submitted by you and the payment issuer or network; and (v) we have your authorization to charge the payment method for the selected service. This includes any applicable taxes related to your purchase.
Additionally, you agree that we can retain and share your payment and purchase information with financial institutions and payment processors (both current and future) to process your transaction. We may also use your contact information, such as email or phone number, to send you notifications about renewals, recurring charges, and any updates related to your purchase.
Pricing Information (Effective January 1, 2026)
Our Premium Plan is available on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Current pricing can be found on our website’s Premium Page or within the Apple App Store and Google Play Store listings.
New pricing will take effect on January 1, 2026 for all new subscriptions. Existing subscribers will continue at their current rate until their next renewal after this date (subject to the price change notification procedures outlined below).

Account and Platform Requirements
To purchase or subscribe to any of our Premium Plans, you must first create an account on Eklipse and log in. Premium Plans are exclusively available to users of (i) the Google Android OS version with a valid Google account, or (ii) the Eklipse Web version with a valid Eklipse account.
If you purchase a subscription on our website, you will also receive Premium service on the mobile app version of Eklipse. Similarly, if you purchase a subscription through the Eklipse mobile app, you will have Premium service on the website version, as both platforms are synchronized. However, please note that any adjustments, changes, cancellations, upgrades, or downgrades to your plan must be made using the same device and payment method used for the original purchase.
Service Changes and Pricing
Price Changes and Your Rights:
We may modify our Premium and Additional Services, including adjusting features, services, or pricing. Any changes will be made in accordance with the following terms:
- Price Increases: If we increase the price of your Premium Plan, we will provide you with at least 30 days advance notice via email to your registered email address and through in-app notification.
- Your Options Upon Price Change: If you do not agree to a price increase, you may cancel your subscription before your next renewal date without penalty and continue to use the service until the end of your current billing period.
- Service Modifications: Changes to features or services that do not affect pricing will take effect upon notice, which may be provided through the service itself, email, or our website. Material changes that substantially reduce service functionality will be communicated at least 15 days in advance.
Existing Subscribers: If you keep your subscription active (do not cancel), your current price will remain the same. Price increases only affect new subscribers or users who cancel and resubscribe later.
Application of Premium Features
Important Note: Upgrading to Eklipse Premium will not retroactively alter clips processed under the free plan. To access Premium features such as watermark removal, extended clip duration, voice commands, and additional clip highlights processed from a stream, you must resubmit your stream after subscribing to Premium. Only streams processed after activation of the Premium plan will benefit from these features.
Payment Methods
To access our Premium Services, you can purchase or subscribe via your Apple ID, Google account, credit/debit card, or PayPal. This involves paying the necessary fees and taxes in your local currency. Failure to fulfill these payments may result in the suspension or termination of your access to Premium Services. All payments are to be made in United States dollars unless stated otherwise.
Premium Plan pricing and subscription options can be found on our website’s Premium Page or within the description pages of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If you’re using the Eklipse mobile app, subscriptions are processed through your Apple ID or Google account, adhering to the terms and conditions of the respective app stores. For Eklipse Web users, subscriptions will be processed through your credit/debit card or PayPal account, in accordance with our Terms, the terms of third-party payment service providers, and any additional payment terms.
Pricing for December 2023 Subscribers
If You Subscribed During December 15-31, 2023
If you subscribed to Premium during December 15-31, 2023, here’s what applies to you:
Your Pricing:
- Your Price Stays the Same Until December 31, 2025: If you subscribed during our December 2023 promotion, your subscription price will not change until December 31, 2025 (or for 24 months from when you first subscribed, whichever is later).
- Same Benefits: You get the same Premium features as all other Premium members.
- All Renewals at Same Price: As long as you keep your subscription active, you’ll pay the same rate at each renewal – whether monthly or annual – until December 31, 2025.
- After December 31, 2025: After this date, your subscription may be adjusted to the current standard pricing. If we change your price:
- We’ll email you at least 60 days before the change
- You can cancel anytime during those 60 days without penalty
- You’ll keep your current price until the end of your billing cycle
- If You Cancel: If you cancel your subscription, you lose this pricing. If you resubscribe later, you’ll pay whatever the standard price is at that time.
Note: Our January 1, 2026 pricing update only affects new subscribers. If you subscribed in December 2023, your price stays the same until December 31, 2025 as described above.
Important: This upgrade took effect in the next billing cycle for monthly subscriptions and became active on January 2, 2024 for annual subscriptions. For more information, check out our help page.
Automatic Renewal Terms
If you opt for the Premium Plan with automatic renewal, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Authorization and Billing
- Payment Authorization: You authorize Apple, Google, PayPal, and/or your credit/debit card provider (as applicable) to:
- Store your payment method information
- Automatically charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees
- Calculate and charge applicable taxes based on your billing information
- Renewal Schedule: We will begin automatic billing on the date of your first subscription purchase (or upon successful payment method charge), and on each subsequent periodic renewal date (monthly, annually, or other renewal period) until you cancel your subscription.
- Billing Timing: Your payment method will be charged 1-3 days before your renewal date to ensure uninterrupted service.
Renewal Notifications
4. Advance Notice: We will send you renewal reminder notifications:
- Monthly Subscriptions: At least 7 days before each renewal
- Annual Subscriptions: At least 30 days before each renewal
- Notifications will be sent to your registered email address and may also appear in-app
Cancellation Requirements
5. Cancellation Deadline: To prevent the next automatic charge:
- You must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your renewal date
- Cancellations received less than 24 hours before renewal may result in one final charge for the upcoming period
6. Cancellation Method: You must cancel your subscription through the platform where you originally subscribed:
- Apple ID subscribers: Cancel through your Apple ID account settings
- Google account subscribers: Cancel through Google Play subscriptions
- Web/PayPal subscribers: Cancel through your Eklipse account settings at https://app.eklipse.gg/account#membership
Your Rights
7. Statutory Rights: Certain states and countries have mandatory laws that govern cancellation rights and automatic renewals. Where such laws apply, they will supersede the provisions of this section to the extent of any conflict. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

Cancellation and Plan Adjustments
How to Cancel
To discontinue recurring charges, you must cancel your subscription via the account you used when you subscribed, whether it is your Apple ID, Google account, or the Eklipse website if purchased using PayPal or credit/debit card (as applicable) before the current subscription period ends.
Important: Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to prevent the next charge.
What Happens After Cancellation
If you cancel your subscription:
- You will retain full access to the Premium Plan until the end of your current subscription period
- Your subscription will be downgraded to the Free Plan effective at the conclusion of the current subscription period
- No partial refunds will be issued for the unused portion of your subscription period (except where required by applicable law)
Changing Payment Processors
If you want to change your payment processor from one to another (for example, from Apple Pay to Google Pay, or from credit card to PayPal):
- You must first cancel your current subscription with your existing payment processor
- Wait for your current subscription period to end
- Purchase a new subscription using your preferred payment processor
Note for Subscribers with Special Pricing: If you have promotional pricing from a previous offer, switching payment processors will require you to purchase a new plan at the current standard rate. You will lose access to your promotional pricing.
Changing or Upgrading Plans
When purchasing a new plan or modifying an existing one:
- The previous plan will be terminated immediately
- The new plan takes effect immediately upon purchase
- You will be charged the full amount for the new plan
- No prorated refunds will be issued for the unused portion of your previous plan

Changing Payment Methods
Within the Same Payment Processor
Users can change their payment method directly through their payment processor without affecting their subscription. For example:
- Update from one credit card to another credit card (within the same card payment processor)
- Change from one PayPal account to another PayPal account
- Change from one Apple Pay card to another Apple Pay card
- Switch Google Pay payment sources within Google Play
Process: Follow the payment method update instructions provided by your payment processor (Apple, Google, PayPal, or your card payment provider).
Between Different Payment Processors
Direct transfer not supported: You cannot directly transfer your subscription between different payment processors (e.g., from Apple Pay to Google Pay, from PayPal to credit card, or from credit card to PayPal).
Required Process:
- Cancel your current subscription through your current payment processor
- Wait for your current billing period to end
- Purchase a new subscription using your preferred payment processor
Important for Promotional Price Subscribers: If you have special promotional pricing and change payment processors using the above method, you will lose your promotional pricing and be charged the current standard rate for the new subscription.
Trial and Promotional Offers
Offer Terms
Any trial or promotional offer for Eklipse’s premium subscription, including discounts applied using a promo code at checkout, will be clearly stated in the respective offer details. Please review the specifics of each offer carefully, as the duration and terms may vary by promotion.
Discount Application
First Purchase Only: Promotional discounts apply only to your first purchase and do not extend to subsequent renewals:
- Monthly Plans: The discounted rate applies only to the first month. All subsequent months will be billed at the standard monthly rate.
- Annual Plans: The discount applies only to the first year. Subsequent annual renewals will be charged at the standard annual rate.
Example: If you purchase an annual plan with a 20% promotional discount:
- Year 1: $119.99 (20% off $149.99)
- Year 2 and beyond (upon renewal): $149.99 (standard rate)
Promotional Restrictions
- No Combining Offers: Promotions cannot be redeemed or combined with any other offers, discounts, or promo codes. Only one promotional offer may be applied per transaction.
- Time-Limited: Promotions are valid only within the specified time limit stated in the offer. Claims for promotional offers must be made within the designated period as outlined in the respective offer details.
- One Per Customer: Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers are limited to one per customer and cannot be applied to existing subscriptions.
No Retroactive Application: Promotional pricing cannot be applied retroactively to subscriptions purchased before or after the promotional period.
Account Deletion and Subscription Management
Critical Warning: Read Before Deleting Your Account
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Deleting your Eklipse account will result in:
- Immediate loss of Premium subscription access (even if you have paid through the end of your billing period)
- Permanent loss of promotional pricing (if applicable)
- Loss of all clips, content, and account data
- Inability to restore your subscription or data after deletion
Required Steps BEFORE Account Deletion
You MUST cancel your active subscription BEFORE deleting your account:
Account deletion does NOT automatically cancel your subscription. If you delete your account without first canceling your subscription, you may continue to be charged by the payment processor even though you no longer have access to the service.
How to Cancel Your Subscription Before Deletion:
- Apple ID Subscribers:
- Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device
- Select Eklipse Premium
- Tap “Cancel Subscription”
- Wait for confirmation
- Google Play Subscribers:
- Open Google Play Store
- Tap Menu > Subscriptions
- Select Eklipse Premium
- Tap “Cancel Subscription”
- Wait for confirmation
- Web/PayPal Subscribers:
- Log in to your Eklipse account at app.eklipse.gg
- Go to Account Settings > Subscription
- Click “Cancel Subscription”
- Follow the prompts to confirm
After Cancellation: Wait to receive cancellation confirmation via email before proceeding with account deletion.
Uninstalling the Mobile Application
Application removal does NOT cancel your subscription:
Removing the Eklipse mobile application from your device will NOT automatically cancel your ongoing subscription plan. Your Eklipse account will remain active, and your Premium subscription will continue to renew and charge your payment method according to your billing schedule.
You are responsible for:
- Actively canceling your subscription through the appropriate payment platform (Apple, Google, or Eklipse website)
- Ensuring subscription cancellation is confirmed before uninstalling the app
- Monitoring your payment method for any unexpected charges
Account Restoration
Limited Restoration Available: In exceptional cases of technical service failure (not user error), you may contact our customer support team at [email protected] to request restoration of your Premium subscription status. Restoration is:
- Granted at our sole discretion
- Only available in cases of verified service failure on our part
- Subject to verification of prior subscription
- Provided without refund for the period of service interruption
No Restoration for Voluntary Deletion: If you voluntarily delete your account, we cannot restore your subscription, content, promotional pricing, or account data.
Governing Terms: Third-Party Platforms & App Usage License
Eklipse.gg utilizes third-party platforms for distributing its mobile application (“App”). Your relationship with these platforms, and crucially, the license under which you are permitted to use the Eklipse.gg App software obtained through them, are governed by their respective terms.
1. Apple App Store Users
When you download, install, or use the Eklipse.gg App obtained from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that your use is primarily governed by Apple Inc.’s terms and conditions. Specifically, the license to use the App is granted to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LAEULA), which is part of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Eklipse.gg relies on this standard Apple LAEULA and does not provide a separate, custom End User License Agreement for the App Store version. You are bound by this standard LAEULA.
We strongly recommend reviewing Apple’s current terms, which include the LAEULA, typically available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
2. Google Play Store Users
If you download, install, or use the Eklipse.gg App obtained from the Google Play Store, your use is governed by Google LLC’s terms and conditions applicable to applications downloaded from Google Play, primarily the Google Play Terms of Service.

Important Distinction
These platform agreements (particularly the Apple LAEULA for App Store users) primarily govern the software license allowing you to use the App itself. These Terms of Service, on the other hand, specifically detail our practices regarding your subscription, payments, and use of Eklipse services.
You will find links to these Terms and the applicable platform terms (the standard Apple LAEULA for iOS users) within the App, especially near subscription purchase points, and within our App Store listing information, as required by platform guidelines. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with all governing documents.
Changes to These Terms
Modification Rights
We may modify these Paid Service Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.
Notice of Material Changes
If we make material changes that negatively affect your rights or significantly increase your obligations, we will:
- Provide Advance Notice: Send you notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect via:
- Email to your registered email address
- In-app notification upon login
- Prominent notice on our website
- Summary of Changes: Include a clear summary of the key changes and how they affect you
- Updated Terms: Post the complete updated Terms on our website with the new effective date clearly marked
Your Options
Continued Use: Your continued use of the Premium service after the effective date of the modified Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
Objection to Changes: If you do not agree to the modified Terms:
- You may cancel your subscription without penalty before the effective date of the changes
- You will retain access to the service under the current Terms until the end of your then-current billing period
- After your billing period ends, the new Terms will govern any renewal
Non-Material Changes
Minor changes that do not materially affect your rights (such as clarifications, formatting improvements, or updates to contact information) may be made without advance notice. We will update the “Effective Date” at the top of these Terms to reflect when changes were made.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, invalid, or prohibited by applicable law by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent, or if modification is not possible, such provision shall be severed from these Terms.
The remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect and shall not be affected by the unenforceable, invalid, or prohibited provision or by its severance.
