How does Eklipse works?
Eklipse uses advanced AI technology to analyze your gameplay recordings, whether from screen capture or Steam’s game recording, and automatically generate highlight clips. These clips are optimized for sharing on platforms like TikTok or YouTube, allowing you to showcase your best moments with minimal effort.
On which platforms is Eklipse Game Highlights available?
Eklipse is currently a desktop application available exclusively on Windows. It is not supported on Mac OS or Linux, and does not yet offer a mobile version.
How do I use Eklipse?
Download the Eklipse desktop app on your Windows PC, sign in with your email or preferred method, and start capturing your gameplay. You can either record directly using Eklipse’s screen recorder or import footage by pasting the file path from Steam’s recording folder. Once your session is processed, your highlights will be ready to explore.
Is Eklipse free?
Yes! Eklipse is free to install and use. During the beta period, all features are available at no cost to help gamers try out the app and give feedback.
Can I automatically get highlights from any game?
At the moment, Eklipse’s beta supports automatic clip generation for Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Apex Legends, PUBG, and Naraka. If you’re playing a game that isn’t yet supported, you can still record your gameplay, and request support by submitting the game name through our Discord channel.
What do I do if my game is not listed as supported?
No worries, if your game isn’t officially supported yet, you can submit a request via our Discord. Our team reviews requests regularly and aims to expand support over time based on community demand.
Does Eklipse make clips in real-time while I'm recording?
No, Eklipse processes clips after your gameplay session ends. Whether you’re importing Steam recordings or using screen capture, your content must be fully recorded and finalized before Eklipse can analyze and generate clips.
Why is Eklipse flagged as a virus during installation?
Eklipse is still in beta and may trigger antivirus or SmartScreen warnings. Make sure you’ve download only from official eklipse web, on the popup block, click “More Info” on the warning, then select “Run Anyway.” The app is safe if installed from our official site.
