Twitch VOD & Clip Downloader
Save any Twitch VOD or clip as a clean MP4 in source quality — no watermark, no install, nothing uploaded to our servers. Long VODs stream straight to your disk, so length is limited by drive space, not browser memory.

A real Twitch downloader, in the browser
Download Twitch VODs to MP4
Paste a Twitch VOD URL and save it as an MP4 in up to source quality. The file is transmuxed (not re-encoded), so it is fast and keeps the original video and audio. A free Twitch video downloader with no watermark and no desktop software.
Download Twitch clips too
Paste a clip link (clips.twitch.tv or twitch.tv/<channel>/clip/...) and grab the MP4 directly — a built-in Twitch clip downloader for the moments you want to repost, with no clip limit.
Long VODs stream to disk
On Chrome and Edge, multi-hour VODs write each segment straight to a file you pick, so a 6-hour VOD does not run out of browser memory. Length is bounded by your drive, not RAM.
Private by design
Clip downloads go straight from Twitch's CDN to your device. Twitch blocks VODs from being read directly by other sites, so VOD downloads relay through Eklipse's servers — nothing is stored or logged along the way. Free VOD fetches are rate-limited; sign in with Twitch to download your own VODs without the cap.
Twitch VOD downloader questions
How do I download a Twitch VOD?
Paste the VOD link (twitch.tv/videos/...) above, pick a quality, and download. The clip or VOD saves as an MP4 straight from Twitch's CDN — no software and no watermark. Long VODs stream to a file you choose so they do not hit a memory limit.
Can I download Twitch clips with this?
Yes — paste a clip link (clips.twitch.tv/... or twitch.tv/<channel>/clip/...) and it downloads the clip as an MP4 directly, with no clip limit. It works as both a Twitch VOD downloader and a Twitch clip downloader.
Can it handle long, multi-hour VODs?
Yes, on browsers that support save-to-disk (Chrome, Edge). The tool writes each segment straight to the file you pick, so a multi-hour VOD is limited by your drive space, not browser memory. On other browsers, very long VODs may be too large to build in memory — use Chrome/Edge, or let Eklipse auto-clip the VOD instead.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
The tool is free and needs no account to download clips. VOD fetches have a small daily free limit; sign in with Twitch to download your own VODs without the cap. There is no watermark either way. (Eklipse is free to sign up for; the full AI clipping suite is a paid product.)
What format and quality do I get?
An MP4 in up to the source quality Twitch stored, transmuxed without re-encoding so there is no quality loss. You can pick lower qualities (e.g. 720p, 480p) for smaller files.
Which VODs can't be downloaded?
Sub-only, geo-restricted, and deleted/expired VODs can't be resolved anonymously. Only download VODs you have the rights to — the sign-in flow is for grabbing your own VODs.
Turn that VOD into content
Stop scrubbing VODs. Start posting clips.
Downloading the whole VOD is the manual way. Eklipse watches your stream, finds your best moments, and posts them as clips to TikTok, Shorts and Reels automatically.
